Host: William Stibor Bio


William Stibor is Music Director at NET Radio (Nebraska's statewide Public Radio Network and NPR station, FM-91.1 in Lincoln) where he is also weekday classical music host ofMorning Concert.  He also produces and hosts the arts & culture radio magazine, Friday Live, every Friday at 9:00am, interviewing arts and humanities guests from around the state from The Mill coffeehouse in Lincoln's historic Haymarket District. A native of the Sandhills, he holds an M.A. from UNL in English with a theatre emphasis, and a B.A. in theatre and English from Hastings College, where he graduated with honors. He is former producer of Connections, a radio series featuring Humanities topics and issues, and has produced and hosted music radio programs such as the UNL Faculty on Stage and the Young Musician Competition series. He has also served as editor and writer of several arts and promotional publications and is a published poet, appearing in the internationally recognized literary magazine Prairie Schooner, as well as Plainsongs. He currently serves on the boards of Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra and the Abendmusik Performance Series, as well as the Nebraska District Committee of the Met Opera Auditons.
