Chicago Blues Reunion: Bio

The Chicago Blues Reunion is a collaboration of Chicago music legends who defined the sound of their generation in the 1960's. During that time, they helped create the historic transition from folk and acoustic music, to electric blues, the form that is largely responsible for the advent of rock n roll, and rock music. For 4 decades these musicians have continued to be an inspiration to younger generations, who have followed their trail-blazing path. Last year, these legends joined forces once again and the result is Buried Alive In The Blues, a two-disc set (audio CD & 60 minute DVD) from Out The Box Records. This set is a lasting document of their musical and cultural legacy showcased in
a killer live recording.

The band is a who's who of household names including: Barry Goldberg, Nick "The Greek" Gravenites, Harvey "The Snake" Mandel, Tracy Nelson, Sam Lay, and Corky Siegel, backed by a band of top flight pros including: Gary Mallaber, Rick Reed
and Zach Wagner.
