Straddling two divergent worlds - pop and opera - Disney Pearl artist Nathan Pacheco creates a new musical world all his own. The Washington, D.C., native possesses a voice as powerful as any in opera, yet at the same time he sings with all the warmth and accessibility of the greatest pop artists.
Nathan was discovered by producer Ric Wake (Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston) and was a featured performer with pianist/composer Yanni on a tour of the US, Canada and Mexico. Nathan has been featured on several national television broadcasts including two PBS television specials and the ABC/Disney Parks Christmas Parade. In May 2011 he performed for His Royal Highness Prince Charles at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. and later in the year performed "O' Holy Night" on Chicago's Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, Philadelphia's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the ABC/Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade with Katherine Jenkins.
Nathan's recording of "O' Holy Night" sung as a duet with Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins, was released digitally on Nov. 21, 2011. In December, he performed his first headlining concert datesat the Geffen Playhouse -- Home for the Holidays: The Voice of Nathan Pacheco -- where he premiered songs from his upcoming debut album, plus holiday favorites and classics.
In January and February 2012, Nathan joined Katherine Jenkins' 25-date UK tour with the London Symphony Orchestra as a fully integrated special guest artist and performed duets with Katherine and classic favorites along with songs from
his debut album.

"My dream is to travel around the entire world and to sing my heart out."
Meet Nathan. With a laid back attitude, personable vibe, and genuine charisma, Nathan is a down-to-earth guy with a great talent to connect the world; not only is he an up-and-coming pop-opera singer (think the likes of Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli), but he is a passionate individual with a penchant for traveling and missionary work.
His bigger than music story began after his first year of college, when he decided to do missionary work in Brazil. Coming from a Brazilian heritage, Nathan wanted to go to a country where he could connect with his roots.
This trip would change his life forever, when his quest for cultural knowledge transformed into something much greater:
"Little did I know that forever thereafter a part of my heart would remain there. The food, the people, the culture, the language, the countryside, the beaches (and I'll let you fill in the rest after visiting) - all of these things were enough to do me in forever."
Brazil was only the beginning for Nathan's journey, whose next adventure was studying abroad in Italy. Combining his love of travel with his fervor for opera, Italy was the perfect country for him to learn a new language while learning how to perform.
"Music is a gift, to be able to express ourselves through music is something that is not only something that gives us a lot of fulfillment, but can even be a form of therapy to get us through difficult times."
He has taken all that he has learned through his travels and meeting individuals from all over the world and has transformed it into awe-inspiring music.
His passion for life, and compassion for human beings pervades his music. Take a listen here, and experience how Nathan Pacheco is a musician who is bigger than music.
