Founded in 1997 and now celebrating its 20th anniversary, Signum boasts a catalogue of over 500 titles and continues to release 50+ new recordings each year by internationally acclaimed artists such as The King's Singers, Alessio Bax, Tamsin Waley-Cohen, Julian Bliss, Philharmonia Orchestra, James Rhodes, Gabrieli Consort & Players under Paul McCreesh and Tenebrae.

Signum works closely with its sister company, Floating Earth, the leading production and engineering specialist service provider in Europe and this partnership has resulted in consistently outstanding recordings, including an array of award-winners (Grammys™, Gramophone and BBC Music Magazine Awards) and 5 star reviews.

Signum prides itself on providing recordings of much-loved classics alongside innovative and previously un-heard music, spanning the length and breadth of the classical repertoire as well as crossing over into Jazz and World music.

The label is most celebrated for its outstanding early music, choral and orchestral recordings as well as nurturing young and emerging artists, including soloists such as Tamsin Waley-Cohen, Julian Bliss and Alessio Bax and composers including Will Todd, Joby Talbot and Bob Chilcott, to name but a few.
