The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania announced the winners of the 57th Golden Quill Awards tonight at the Rivers Casino, Pittsburgh. The Golden Quills competition honors professional and student excellence in print, broadcast, photography, videography and digital journalism in Western Pennsylvania and nearby counties in Ohio and West Virginia.

Also this evening, the Press Club honored Paul Martino, retired KDKA-TV reporter and anchor, and Sue McFarland, retired executive editor of Trib Total Media, with President's Awards. Service to Journalism Awards were presented to the staff of the New Pittsburgh Courier and to Kevin Gavin, executive producer of special projects and host of "The Confluence" at WESA-FM.

The Press Club presented Penn State senior Gabriella Hornack of Lower Burrell with the 2021 Bob Fryer Memorial Scholarship. Point Park University senior Colton DeBiase of Murrysville received the 2021 Press Club of Western Pennsylvania Scholarship.

Tin who is the first artist ever to win a Grammy for music written for a video game spoke with 89.3WQED-Pittsburgh about the album, collaborating with the Royal Philharmonic and the Royal Opera Chorus, his career in composition, and more.
