Quartetto di Cremona plays Chamber Music Tulsa / Tulsa World

Bookmark and Share

The Quartetto di Cremona, which made its exuberant Tulsa debut in 2013, returns to perform under the auspices of Chamber Music Tulsa. The quartet, which takes its name from the Italian city where it first came together, and which also is the hometown of the legendary violin maker Antonio Stradivari, has been described as making music that is as "sleek and elegant as an Armani suit."

For its Chamber Music Tulsa concert, this Italian ensemble will be performing a program of Austrian music, including Webern's "Langsamer Satz" and Six Bagatelles for String Quartet, Op. 9, along with Mozart's Quartet in C Major, K. 465, "Dissonance," and Schubert's Quartet No. 14 in D Minor "Death and the Maiden."
