George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" is one of America's most iconic and familiar pieces of music. On KUAF: Fayetteville AR - Of Note show for Tuesday's August 25, you can hear celebrated pianist Simone Dinnerstein's interpretation of this lively, colorful kernel of American culture from her Broadway-Lafayette album.

Broadway-Lafayette celebrates the time-honored transatlantic link between France and America through the music of Gershwin, Maurice Ravel, and Philip Lasser in his The Circle and the Child: Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, written for Dinnerstein. The album was recorded with conductor Kristjan Järvi and the MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, by Grammy-winning producer Adam Abeshouse. VIEW THE KUAF PAGE        LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW
