Classical Radio is 'All In' for Teddy Abrams

Teddy Abrams leads the Louisville Orchestra in  this orchestra's first recording in nearly thirty years  – All In. Released on Decca Gold, All In features a new work composed by Abrams, titled 'Unified Field,' as well as Aaron Copland's Clarinet Concerto with the conductor as soloist. Chanteuse Storm Large joins the orchestra for three songs: a Cole Porter classic, one of her own original works, and a song by Teddy himself. The Louisville Orchestra has been reinvigorated by the young Abrams, who has been compared to Leonard Bernstein for his commitment to championing new works, education, and community engagement. Since his tenure as music director began, the orchestra has seen an exceptional growth in concert attendance and general reaffirmation of the orchestra as a gem of the Louisville community.

In conjunction with the album release, TA has made himself avialable to speak with Classical Radio Stations throughout the US. Watch for our tweets throught the day.
