Snarky Puppy & Roberto Fonseca help close 32nd Havana Jazz Festival / Prensa Latina

Some great musicians from 10 countries were invited to the closing performance of the 32nd International Festival Jazz Plaza, held in Havana and Santiago de Cuba from December 15th to 18th. Some of Cuba's best players, participated in the ensembles, jam sessions, exhibitions, talks and concerts during the four-day festival founded in Havana in 1980 by Bobby Carcasses, awarded with the National Prize of Music.

Snarky Puppy and African singer Fatoumata Diawara are closing today with a performance which will also be joined by local artists. Snarky Puppy is a group directed by double bass player Michael League that has been listed by Billboards and Top Albums on Contemporary Jazz. Meanwhile, Diawara, from Cote d´Ivoire, will perform also at the Mella Theater in Havana with Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca and his group Temperamento.
