Internationally known for their "mature and lyrical sound" (Strad), the Quartetto di Cremona ( Cristiano Gualco - violin, Paolo Andreoli - violin, Simone Gramaglia - viola, Giovanni Scaglione - cello ) graces not only the stages of the most prestigious venues, but now some of the best Classical radio stations around the US. Bookended by performances in Tulsa OK and Western Massachusetts, the guys piled into a Suburban last week and stopped at 10 stations along the way to find out what American Radio is all about. Join violist Simone Gramaglia as he recounts the trip.

Discover Classical presents ArtsFocus every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:55am and 4:55pm. Each segment features a guest from the regional arts community discussing current activities, such as concerts, exhibitions and festivals.

The Quartetto's upcoming fifth volume of the Complete Beethoven String Quartets presents not only the Op. 132 String Quartet but also Beethoven's only original String Quintet. Lawrence Dutton, the violist of the Emerson String Quartet, joins the Quartetto di Cremona on this Audite release.     Listen to attached interview
