The bassist / singer / composer has brewed a chilli from R & B, funk, soul, blues, jazz and rock, creating a sound that is sure to appeal to Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Lenny Kravitz and James Blood Ulmer and the rather politically motivated Bands like War or Mandrill , but clearly comes from the unruly collective scene from Los Angeles. This is energy that makes everyone smile instantly. Miles Mosley is not just a bassist who sings, he's a musician who burns with a completely new expression. It would have been too easy to simply switch to an electric bass to create the richness of the sound that Miles had in mind. It is probably part of the seismic process of taking a double-bass, five-ply laminated maple body, extra-thick four-ply inner glue linings, massive maple outer linings, a special arch of carbon fibers, and a whole army of effect pedals.
