OKM Music Festival brings back Miro Quartet for multiple performances / Bartlesville ExamIner Enterprise

Classical music is the backbone of the 34-year-old OKM Music Festival, and this year's chamber artists offer something for everyone. The weeklong festival kicks off June 9-15, with a variety of artists and genres. The classical series brings returning favorite Miró Quartet back to liven the stage with afternoon and evening performances from June 11-13 in Ambler Hall, Bartlesville, and a lunchtime and evening performance June 14-15 in Tulsa.

Formed in 1995, the high-profile chamber group enjoys its place at the top of the international chamber music scene, performing with the most important chamber music series and on the most prestigious stages. Miró Quartet members are Daniel Ching, violin; William Fedkenheuer, violin; John Largess, viola, and Joshua Gindele, cello. All of the members have won numerous awards and accolades during their musical careers.
