Two heads may be greater than one, but ZOFO Duet proves that four hands are certainly greater than two. What these four hands offer in technique is matched by their two minds offer in performance, interpretation, creativity and passion on their CD: Mind Meld. Eva-Maria Zimmermann and Keisuke Nakagoshi have reinvigorated the classical world on Mind Meld with stunning one-piano-four-hands works by Leonard Bernstein, Harold Shapero, Claude Debussy, and Igor Stravinsky.

Unlike solo piano, the duet repertoire is quite limited so Zofo decided to bridge of the past with the present with complex and deep pieces from Bernstein's Candide, Shapero's 1941 Sonata for Piano Four Hands, Debussy's Epigraphes antiques and Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring.  Using their virtuosity these pieces usually heard with orchestral accompaniment have an unusual way of modernizing the music with bravura and depth.
