Pianist Magazine writes…..The Lang Lang International Music Foundation, one of the premiere music education organisations focused on educating, inspiring, and motivating the next generation of musicians, has established a brand new office in London.

This is the foundation's first major office in the UK and will focus on expanding partnerships globally. The new office will be headed up by Oli Rose, who has previously served as the foundation’s Creative Director throughout 2021.

Rose plans to scale its initiatives that bring entertainment and inspiration to children going through bereavement and to children with illness or limited life. He hopes to develop a wider global community of ambassadors, artists, musicians, and creatives to help support and inspire children who are going through unimaginably difficult times.

Over the coming year, new programme initiatives will be created for in-need areas worldwide. He comments, “On a daily basis, we see first-hand how music education and experiences with music can impact a child’s life for the better. Not only with social development and confidence-building but with emotional connection, even in our current and collective hard times. The foundation’s global development aim is to continue building opportunities to provide this positive impact to the children that need it most, all over the world.”

More about the foundation
Music is powerful. I want every child to have access to music experiences that ignite something wonderful inside of them, just as music delivered something incredible for me.

My hope with my Foundation was to find a way to capture the potential that I see in music to positively transform lives and provide inspiration to kids around the world in a meaningful and sustainable way. I hope that my Foundation can help carry on my passion for music to encourage kids to engage in some way, any way, with any genre of music that touches them.”

I am passionate about music and have dedicated my life to it. I’m motivated in a unique way by the work I do with my Foundation to inspire the next generation of classical music lovers and performers – both those children who study piano and those who experience live performances for the first time. During every interaction I have with kids, I get way more back from it than I give. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the kids motivates me to spend more time and energy creating unique experiences to reach even more children.
