Tina Guo, an internationally acclaimed and Grammy-nominated acoustic/electric cellist, will play with the Victoria Symphony for the fourth master series concert of the season on Feb. 23. For those who do not know her name, you've definitely heard her music in blockbuster films, television shows, video game scores and even an Apple iPhone commercial. Guo is the soloist featured in the "Wonder Woman" film score. Yes, that was an electric cello and not a guitar. Signed by Sony Music, TG and the symphony will perform classical greatest hits, including the "William Tell Overture," "Blue Danube Waltz," "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" and "Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture."  She will be featured in Saint-Saëns "Cello Concerto No. 1 in A minor," which she said was the first concerto she learned. She fondly remembers the first time she performed it at age 11 in San Diego with the La Jolla Symphony.
