Michelle Willis - See Us Through makes Milwaukee Journal Sentinel 'New albums in stores this week'

Bookmark and Share

See Us Through is the new album by Canadian singer-songwriter, Michelle Willis. It's a collection of poignant and intimate songs on GroundUP Music/Universal Classics. "Most of these songs were a haven for me," she says. "Each song deals with attempting to get to the other side of whatever I was in. Often that meant making a decision or speaking up, or just holding tight and not being afraid to stay the course. Each of these things required an action I was often afraid to make. These songs were my encouragement to myself, an extra tug to keep trying, to aim for it."

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel made "See Us Through" one of their 'New albums in stores this week' writing that it is Jazzy and funky, the first solo LP from Toronto resident Michelle Willis hints at the approachability that has made her an attractive opener for the differing likes of Snarky Puppy and Iggy & the Stooges.
