State Of the Arts - segment

On an "A-to-Z" edition of KDFC - San Francisco: State of the ArtsAnne Akiko Meyers plays Vivaldi on Vieuxtemps' Violin. That is, the "Vieuxtemps" Guarneri del Gesu that was crafted in 1741, the same year that Vivaldi died. It had been stored under a collector's bed in London for fifty years, and Meyers' most recent CD marks the first time it's been recorded. Listen to Jeff Freymann's segment with AAM.
