To guitar players, American musician and songwriter George Benson is known for his rest-stroke picking kind of style. His musical career started when he was only eight years old as he played in some small unlicensed club every Friday and Saturday night. He started to record music at the age of nine and now has 36 studio albums, 5 live albums, and has collaborated on more than 120 releases of various artists.

John Scofield collaborated with numerous musicians, Miles Davis, Billy Cobham, Pat Martino, Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius, just to name a few. He is not a regular jazz guitarist since his style spans rock, blues, soul, and many other genres.
