The Ridgefield Playhouse and Ingersoll Auto of Danbury World Music Series bring a night of seductive Latin rhythms and exhilarating jazz harmonies with worldwide sensations Tiempo Libre on Wednesday, February 8 at 7:30 p.m. The three-time Grammy-nominated Afro-Cuban music group is one of the hottest Latin bands today! They will burn down the house with their unique blend of popular Cuban music with salsa, American funk/R&B, and the strong influence of Afro-Cuban folkloric music, aka, Timba. The audience will be on their feet and dancing with this exciting night of music! With performances at Hollywood Bowl, Jazz at Lincoln Center, on The Tonight Show and on numerous Telemundo and Univision TV programs, they have gained legions of fans along the way. Among their biggest fans is Gloria Estefan calling them one of her favorite bands. This Moffly Media Evening of Art, Wine and Jazz Series and Northeast Builders of Ridgefield, LLC show, kicks off at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby, with a complimentary wine tasting courtesy The Wine Group/Benziger Family Winery and an art exhibit by Randi Nussbaum.
