Composer Hans Zimmer would swap playing to a sell-out crowd of thousands at Wembley Arena for the comfort of a pub gig in west London. The Londoner behind 150 movie soundtracks said he pines for the now demolished Greyhound in Fulham - once described by a reviewer as a "big, grotty room" - where he played in the Seventies. The Oscar-winner, 59, will play Wembley Arena next Thursday and Friday with a 60-strong orchestra for the finale of London Tech Week. Zimmer said: "At Wembley, I just wanted to see what would happen if you took film music, put it on the stage, didn't show people the film and made it about how amazing these players are. I do everything from The Lion King, through The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Inception, Gladiator."
