Sharon Isbin, a renowned classical guitarist, will come to St. Louis next week. Isbin has performed with over 170 orchestras around the world, often joins Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion," and has been awarded multiple GRAMMY Awards. In 2010, her CD, "Journey to the New World," featuring Joan Baez and Mark O'Connor won a GRAMMY. She was also a soloist on the GRAMMY-nominated soundtrack of the Academy Award-winning film "The Departed," by Martin Scorsese.

On Friday at Noon, Isbin will join "St. Louis on the Air," to speak with host Don Marsh about her career in music, especially her efforts to increase the visibility of classical guitar music and its repertoire. Listen live
