Charleston Symphony marks 80th year with Leon Fleisher / ABC News 4

The Charleston Symphony Orchestra is marking its 80th year as a performing arts organization with a performance that includes renowned pianist Leon Fleisher. The orchestra announced this week the performance with the Kennedy Center Honors recipient and Grammy nominee will be part of a 1930s-themed gala in September, which is the beginning of the orchestra's new season. The Sept. 10 event at Charleston's Gaillard Center features the performance, a dinner, reception and an auction. Fleisher and the orchestra will be performing works by Ravel and Mozart. The orchestra will also perform Dvorak's "New World Symphony."
