2CELLOS UT show makes Austin American Statesman: 'this week's best'

On Thursday Jan. 18, 2CELLOS will play Austin's Erwin Center. This time playing the University of Texas campus arena, Slovenia's Luka Sulic and Croatia's Stjepan Hauser, previously sold out the Long Center when they visited Austin in 2015. They're touring behind their new album "Score," which focuses on classic movie and TV music from "The Godfather," "Titanic" and "Game of Thrones," plus a splendid version of Henry Mancini's "Moon River" from "Breakfast at Tiffany's. Score, on Portrait/Sony Music Masterworks is a game-changing sound and style for 2CELLOS' as the duo covers some of the most popular melodies ever written for classic and contemporary movies and televisio. "We love movie music! This album represents some of our favorite pieces of music by our favorite film composers. Having the opportunity to arrange them for cello whilst working with the world class London Symphony Orchestra has been a dream come true," says Stjepan.
