Edgar Meyer joins Telluride House Band to close out 43rd annual bluegrass festival / Colorado Public Radio

"The most remarkable virtuoso in the relatively unchronicled history of his instrument." That's how The New Yorker once described bassist and composer Edgar Meyer. Meyer, who won a MacArthur "Genius" Award in 2002, is back in Colorado this week for the 43rd annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival. He's played the festival since 1983 and will close out this summer's four-day event with mandolin player Sam Bush, banjoist Béla Fleck, fiddler Stuart Duncan, dobro player Jerry Douglas and guitarist Bryan Sutton as the Telluride House Band.
