Lang Lang helps Lincoln Center go LIVE / Wall Street Journal

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is planning an all-day live broadcast that will stream from the organization's Facebook page. From pliés at the School of American Ballet to a pre-performance meeting with the pianist Lang Lang, the Oct. 7 event is meant to give arts enthusiasts backstage access to the 16-acre performing-arts campus. The broadcast, which is billed as lasting "from sunup to curtain down," will also be simulcast at various times by Lincoln Center constituents on their own Facebook pages. The complex is home to 11 cultural organizations, including the Metropolitan Opera and the New York Philharmonic.
