A musical duo that has received rave reviews from all over the country is making its way to SUNY Potsdam. Grammy-nominated harpist Yolanda Kondonassis and Grammy-winning guitarist Jason Vieaux will perform on April 7 to conclude the 29th Guest Artist Series. Ms. Kondonassis has released over 20 albums, her latest in 2016. She plays a classical style of harp that has been raved about in The Washington Post, The New York Times and The San Francisco Examiner. Mr. Vieaux has performed as a solo guitarist for over 100 orchestras, he has been featured at guitar festivals around the globe and has an album, "Play," that won a Grammy in 2014. Although Mr. Vieaux and Ms. Kondonassis have performed alone for most of their careers, the two have collaborated previously and have even put out an album together - titled "Together." The performance will take place at 3 p.m. on April 7 in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall at SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music.
