Based off the 2006 film of the same name, the cherished cult favorite of many young musicians and film buffs alike has attracted a steady, but humble stream of attention from the Broadway community since opening on the Great White Way. With a talented cast of actor-musicians, Once tells the story of Guy meets Girl (quite literally the names of the main characters), who connect through a love of music. Hauntingly beautiful music and simple design and choreography construct this relatable tale and make Once the standout musical of the season.
