SSO's Brahms2 sets up a well focused, stable, 3d orchestral picture / stereophile

In 2015, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra established its own record label, SSO Recordings. One year later, the first release - Brahms 2 Symphony in D-Dual Op. 73 , directed by Thomas Zehetmair was ready. Recorded in Fartein Valen in Stavanger Concert Hall in 2015, and produced by Ulrike Schwarz and Grammy winner Jim Anderson, the final mix was accomplished in George Lucas' Skywalker Sound Studio and mastered by the master himself, Bob Ludwig. The album is avail in digital, CD, vinyl and Blu-ray 5.1 surround format.

Stereophile's ‘Analogue Corner' column written by Michael Fremmer mentions the Brahms recording in the process of auditioning various phono cartridges and says that 'this lovely recording sets up an intensely well focused, supremely-stable, three dimensional orchestral picture.'
