This month, some of today's top singers and pianist Lara Downes shared a night of fond memories and extraordinary music in honor of Leonard Bernstein's centennial. Opera stars Thomas Hampson, Ailyn Pérez and J'Nai Bridges, as well as vocalist Theo Bleckmann, each performed one of their favorite Bernstein songs. (Archive video of the full concert has expired.) The concert will also featured music from Downes' Sony Classical debut album For Lenny (available Feb. 9), including world premieres by Stephen Schwartz and more. Above, watch Downes perform "Iconoclasm for Lenny" by Michael Abels.

The evening was hosted by WQXR's Elliott Forrest.

Program included:
"Music I Heard With You" (from Songfest)
"Take Care Of This House" (from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue)
"I Hate Music"
"A Simple Song" (from Mass)
"Some Other Time" (from On the Town)
