Project: Music Heals Us presented the Carr-Petrova Duo in their Carnegie Hall debut last night, Monday October 28 in celebration of the culmination of the duo's Novel Voices Refugee Aid Project. The program featured works by Weinberg, Khachaturian and Liebermann, as well as the world premiere of Fernando Arroyo Lascurain's 'Novel Voices' a work inspired by the people, stories, cultures, and music the duo encountered during their year of travels into refugee camps.

The hall was filled to capacity and the duo, dressed in custom-designed gowns provided by RefuSHE, received a standing ovation. Both featured composers, Lowell Liebermann and Fernando Arroyo Lascurain, were in attendance.
