Making the list is Brandee Younger - Somewhere Different (Impulse!)

If it's not clear yet, NYC-based harpist Brandee Younger is a major jazz composer, collaborator, and educator. Younger and bassist/producer Dezron Douglas gathered many bright young performers, including Marcus Gilmore and Tarrona “Tank” Ball (Tank and the Bangas), to record this stylistically sweeping collection which bounces between jazz, hip-hop, R&B and more.
