After weeks of teasing, the full lineup for the 2017 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass music festival has been revealed. Over 100 acts will play the Warren Hellman-founded free festival, which will take place at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco October 6 – 8.

T Bone Burnett, Bill Bragg, Dan Auerbach, Randy Newman, Sturgill Simpson, Cheap Trick and Brandi Carlile are some of the bigger names set to play the festival. Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 will also be performing. Kuti's recent 3 song EP release on Sony Music Masterworks - Struggle Sounds was co-produced by Robert Glasper and features the single "Gimme My Vote Back (C.P.C.D.)" where C.P.C.D. stands for Corporate Public Control Department. The son of the late Nigerian Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, Seun recorded the EP with Egypt 80, his father's original band. "The Struggle Sounds EP is a true reflection of my social and political beliefs. I give honor to my parents and every revolutionary who made this possible even before I was born" Kuti said.
