In celebration of Disney's current box-office smash, "Beauty and the Beast", rogue violinist Alex DePue releases the featured track from the movie entitled, "Be Our Guest". Combining what one could only describe as, "fiddling on steroids", along with a superbly arranged string section and full band, DePue offers imaginative glitz, glamour, and gold. From the very beginning of the album, the listener gets smacked right across the face with a tremolo as the Intro develops. Then we hear DePue's distinctive fiddle enter with the famous melody known and loved worldwide. After the second chorus, a more somber moment; the band drops out, and the violin sings alone. Then the band pops back in with a startling new tempo, as the insane fiddling continues, escalating to an almost uncontainable roar! Several key changes later, it all wraps up with one last rousing chorus, reminiscent of a true Rockettes-style kick line.
