Straddling two divergent worlds --- pop and opera --- Disney Pearl artist Nathan Pacheco creates a new musical world all his own. The Washington, D.C., native possesses a voice as powerful as any in opera, yet at the same time he sings with all the warmth and accessibility of the greatest pop artists.

Nathan was discovered by producer Ric Wake (Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston) and was a featured performer with pianist/composer Yanni on a tour of the US, Canada and Mexico. Nathan has been featured on several national television broadcasts including two PBS television specials and the ABC/Disney Parks Christmas Parade. In May 2011 he performed for His Royal Highness Prince Charles at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. and later in the year performed "O' Holy Night" on Chicago's Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, Philadelphia's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the ABC/Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade with Katherine Jenkins.

Nathan's recording of "O' Holy Night" sung as a duet with Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins, was released digitally on Nov. 21, 2011. In December, he performed his first headlining concert datesat the Geffen Playhouse -- Home for the Holidays: The Voice of Nathan Pacheco -- where he premiered songs from his upcoming debut album, plus holiday favorites and classics.

In January and February 2012, Nathan joined Katherine Jenkins' 25-date UK tour with the London Symphony Orchestra as a fully integrated special guest artist and performed duets with Katherine and classic favorites along with songs from his debut album.

On May 22, Disney Pearl releases a 4-song CD, Introducing Nathan Pacheco, which features "Now We Are Free (Theme from Gladiator)," "Don't Cry" (original song), the classic "Nessum Dorma," and "Infinito Amore" (original song).

Though known best for his singing, Nathan is also an avid composer. He has just completed his debut album, writing and collaborating with multi-platinum composer/producer Leo-Z (Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban). The album was largely completed in London, England at the legendary Air Lyndhurst Studios with London's Philharmonia Orchestra and will be released later this year on Disney Pearl.
