Jimmy Webb set for the other Levitt Pavilion / Pasadena Now

Songwriter, composer and singer Jimmy Webb is responsible for some of the most notable hits of the late 20th century, among which are such hits as "By the Time I Get to Phoenix," "Galveston" and "Wichita Lineman," popularized by Glen Campbell, "Up, Up and Away," and the soaring masterpiece, "MacArthur Park," which became a hit for Richard Harris in the late 1960s. In his career, Webb has received Grammy Awards for his music, lyrics and orchestration. His songs have been performed by some of the biggest names in the industry, including Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Elvis Presley, Isaac Hayes, Art Garfunkel, Linda Ronstadt, Judy Collins and Michael Feinstein.

In 2013, Webb performed "MacArthur Park" at Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park, Los Angeles, where it is said he wrote the song, landing in a front page coverage by the Los Angeles Times.
