The TEN Tenors:

Wish You Were Here

In the blazing heat of the Australian summer, 2016, The Ten Tenors were in rehearsal in Melbourne. They were doing their very first run through of David Bowie's iconic song, Heroes when the Twitter feed came through announcing David had just passed away. Just a few months later, the tragic news that Prince had also passed away. Although this album doesn't honour all the fallen artists in history, it is our intention to salute each through those we pay tribute to here. In the way that Roger Waters and Dave Gilbert penned the title track for their friend Syd Barrett that they missed so deeply when he left their band. Put simply, to all the lost artists, we wish you were here.

The TEN Tenors:

Our Christmas Wish

When Australia's most famous musical export, The TEN Tenors, decided to make a Christmas album they weren't content with just putting out an album of their wildly popular blend of traditional and seasonal favorites, they decided to make it a fundraising tool to help children. Partnering with Children's Hospital in Brisbane, the album shot to #1 and has gone on to raise over $1 million. When the group brought the project to America, they partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® contributing to their joint mission as well as charting Top 10 on both the Classical and Crossover charts. St. Jude Children's Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Support from musical groups like The TEN Tenors helps ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
