PROJECT Trio:

When Will Then Be Now

PROJECT Trio: 'When Will Then Be Now' includes five original pieces: ‘Classique,' a true crossover in the classical tradition, 'Raga Raja,' a highly rhythmic up tempo Indian style composition, the fun crowd favorite ‘TV Theme Show,' '6th Row Middle,' which begins with a beautiful chorale and turns into a rhythmically charged jam, and ‘The Stacks,' which bassist and composer Peter Seymour describes as "just a cool tune that is very PROJECTy."  The album is balanced by some of the world's great landmark covers including, '3 Bach Sinfonias,' a jam on ‘Beethoven's 5th Symphony,' the classic Charlie Parker/Miles Davis tune ‘Donna Lee,' and a Project Trio rendition of ‘Rossini's William Tell Overture.'

PROJECT Trio:

Instrumental

A continuation of their journey of exploration of contrasting musical genres, Instrumental features 11 tracks of rhythmically charged PROJECT Trio originals and covers ranging from classical to gypsy jazz, Brazilian and slow jams. The originals include Djangish, an homage to the great Django Reinhardt,  Shir and 2against3, both with the classic PROJECT Trio sound, and Sloeberry Jam, a slow jam with a hip-hop/pop/gospel feel.   Four more originals, 99 Mondays, The Anthem, BBR and Now were made with a new voice inspired by the sounds of today.  The album is balanced by an eclectic collection of covers including, Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5, the classic Brazilian "Chorro" song Andre de Sapato Novo, and a PROJECT Trio rendition of Saint-Saëns' Bacchanale from Sampson and Delilah.
