Symphonic and guitar

Maya Le Roux believes that memory is an indispensable element of creativity. A piece of Music is created through the same process as a good recipe: by mixing textures of sound that one has tasted previously. That is why, above all, we strive to be melodic, and that is the goal on Le Roux' new CD: Symphonic and guitar. The beauty of a theme transcends the confines of time and should not be excluded from the musical creations of the 21st century. The purpose of language is to communicate. Maya Le Roux is loath to inventing a new musical idiom because she is afraid that it may not be understood. The recurring theme of her compositions is to transmit pleasure and emotion.

Fandangos Y Zarzuelas

This guitar trio was formed from the friendship of the three performers. Guitarists Maya Le Roux and Raymond Migy, both students of Dagoberto Linhares who is head of professional classes at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne. The musicians began working together in 2000 when Maya Le Roux organised the 'orientalism' concert at the opening of the Salzburg Festival. She asked Mr. Linhares, Mr. Migy and Mr. Leu to play the Andalou Concerto by Joaquin Rodrigo for four guitars and orchestra who were accompanied by the Mozarteum Orchestra of Salzburg.
