From genre-defying conductor Kristjan Järvi, the youngest member of the famed conducting family --  and with the brilliant artists of his Absolute Ensemble, and acclaimed pianist Simone Dinnerstein - comes BACH RE-INVENTED, on Sony Classical. The CD is part homage to J.S. Bach's time-honored and treasured Two-Part Inventions Nos. 1, 4 and 8, and part explosion into more modern musical spheres. On BACH RE-INVENTED, Kristjan Järvi and his outstanding collaborators have a vision for what "invention" means when one considers Johann Sebastian Bach. Says Järvi, Bach "was not a normal composer. He was an inventor [who] created a platform on which it is possible to leave one's own horizon far behind. Each and every musician can find riches in him. Bar none."
